Today’s video tip
Such a common problem which can be solved if you start to understand why the apostrophe is used – and now you’ll find it easy!
Simple sentences to help – use WHOSE when you can’t say “WHO IS/HAS/WAS” INSTEAD:
- “Whose views cover whose news? Which newscaster gave which information?”
- “Whose blues album is this?”
- “Whose going to be home for dinner tonight?”
- “I did ask whose leftovers were in the fridge – but no-one replied, so I threw them out!”
